Can a Muslim become a Zionist? What does the Holy Quran say about Israel and the Jewish people? Is Islam inherently antisemitic? Many in our community have asked these questions but rarely get to ask a Muslim leader directly. Join the American Jewish Alliance and our chapters for a live conversation with Sheikh Musa Drammeh, founder of Muslims Israel Dialogue.
Born in The Gambia, Sheikh Musa has lived in New York City since 1986 and is a lifelong community organizer. He will share why he founded Muslims Israel Dialogue, where he hopes to take it next, and how he draws on the Quran to make a case for Zionism. He will also explore what Judaism and Islam have in common and how those shared beliefs can help Jews and Muslims build closer relationships. The evening will close with a live Q&A. Bring the questions you would like to ask Sheikh Musa.
